The turtles, and what the rope is for

Olive ridleys nest at the south end between November and February, and the Forest Department ropes off the nests. The rope is not decorative. Walk around it, keep torches off the sand after dark, and do not let anyone photograph a hatchling with a flash. We will tell you when a nest is close to hatching if you ask.
